Way too long!! needs an update

Wow.. it has been way too long since I posted in my journal.. Been a very busy gal in the past 4 months.. I had been working 2 jobs.. just about killed me.. Hubby has been laid off work since May 31st.. and still no job on the horizon! Both of my young boys have had an expenses. Oldest broke his arm and dental work.. and youngest has been tormented with horrible dental surgery ... that could not get done.. after all the tormenting.. I hope no one does not take too much offense.. but I HATE the Dental Industry right now!
Hate is a strong word.. but crimeny.. the cost is out of this world.. Not to mention the inconsistencies among dentists....!I have dental insurance but it is still outrageous. OK.. I am not going to say anymore.. As a result of working too much.. My art has suffered. I am planning to draw non stop the next few days. (Fall Break)So I do not lose what clients I do have. I have 2 commissions to finish.. then off to draw for the pure enjoyment. Hope everyone is well and god bless!!

I am a Wife, mum, artist, teacher.. in that order... !! Started drawing as a small child.. (we did not have television)... so had to use my imagination and entertain myself.. loved the movies.. when we finally got a television.. and love the romantic leading man. Love portrait drawing of all kinds.. and love art of all kinds.. Do have a more traditional taste.. but really enjoy photography as well. Hoping to correspond with other artists out there!
